Ways to Spread Kidness on Random Acts of Kindness Day!

Kindness elicits positive feelings for everyone, including the people who witnessed it. On Friday, February 17, we will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, a day to celebrate and encourage kindness. Here are a few ways to celebrate:

  • Write a thank you note to show appreciation for someone or a LinkedIn recommendation for a co-worker.
  • Drop off items at a local food pantry, like the Grace Church Food Pantry.
  • Share words of encouragement.
  • Put your skills to work for someone in need. For example, helping someone with their resume or assisting an organization in SkillsConnect.
  • Write a positive comment online.
  • Find an opportunity to compliment others. It costs nothing.
  • For more ideas, visit the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation.
