Support 300+ Families and 700+ Children
Our goal is to serve ALL children, 0-10 years old, this year, which is approximately 700, and provide a minimum of three UNWRAPPED toys! And we need your help to make this all happen! Your donations will go to the families that are supported through The Fund for Alexandria's Child, The Miracle League of Alexandria, The Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse Center and others. VolALX engages hundreds of people, including businesses, apartment complexes, congregations, schools, scout groups, and other social clubs, as well as numerous individuals who participate by setting up a toy collection bin, organizing holiday parties, donating money to help us put this all together and purchase materials and snacks for volunteers, getting friends and families involved, and volunteering.
Since 2014, VolALX has implemented this toy drive to support Alexandria’s children. We support the Fund for Alexandria’s Children’s Holiday Sharing program and other agencies in need, as well as low-income working families not registered with an agency.

Thank you to the donors, supporters & volunteers who made 2024's Toys4ALX event the biggest one yet!

"This event was truly magical, and I know it meant so much to all the people who came. When we volunteer, we forget about our daily routines, our small life problems. That in itself is healing to us. We might not need toys, but the sense of community means the most to us!" - Second-Year Toys4ALX Volunteers Fatima Martinez and Kingsley Akpan. Return to top
