Annual Old Town Arts and Crafts Festival 2018

Waterfront Park, 1A Prince Street, Old Town Alexandria, VA 22314, Saturday, June 09, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Hosted by Volunteer Alexandria

Thousands of residents and visitors of all ages stroll King Street and the Waterfront Park to enjoy jewelers – silversmith & beaders, woodworkers, pottery makers, soap crafters, items for your home and garden, clothing, glass makers, unique painters, sculptures, fabric artists, and much more. We offer beer, cider and food and everyone will have a chance to leave their mark on a boat with paint. FREE public event! Fun for the whole family.

Women and Wine, Cheers to a Good Cause will take place on Tuesday, May 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Queen Bee DesignsRegister online. Queen Bee Designs, LLC was founded by Allison Priebe Brooks in 2002. Allison wanted to start a high end jewelry line that would appeal a wide variety of women at every stage of their lives. Allison’s personal taste ranges from bohemian and funky to chic and sophisticated. With a broad mission and lofty goals to bring high end affordable jewelry to the masses she created Queen Bee Designs to fill a niche in the Washington DC fashion community that was instantly recognized as world class - The Washingtonian Magazine named her a Rising Star in the Fashion Community and a Person to Watch. Her work has been seen on national television and in print editions of The Washington Post, Lucky Magazine, The Washingtonian, and on celebrities such as Laura Bush, Marcia Cross, Nancy Pelosi, and fans include Vogue's Andre Leon Talley and fashion expert Tim Gunn. Women & Wine engages women 21 and older who are interested in learning more about community volunteer opportunities, networking, socializing, and enjoying wine. Early bird rate available!
