Youth Sports Coaches

To provide an enjoyable & safe sporting experience for an assigned group of athletes, while they learn individual and team games skills, sportsmanship and fair play.

Preside over team activities, including all scheduled practices and games. Adhere to RPCA policies, rules and objectives. Responsible for maintaining the care of all RPCA Sports equipment. Lead by example among team parents to support the responsibilities of the referee and league leadership. Coach an assigned group of children and focus on skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship and fun. Work to establish and improve team unity and spirit. Ensure equal time for all players, regardless of the score

Desire to work with children, possess organizational, patience, maturity, dependability, sound character, strong morals, values, and personal ethics.

Volunteers are required to complete the volunteer application and background check.
Volunteers must attend the National Youth Sports Coaches Alliance course. Volunteers must attend coaches' meetings and are encouraged to attend coaching clinics.
Volunteers must sign and follow the Code of Conduct and enforce the Code of Conduct with players and parents. All football coaches must be certified in USA Football "Heads Up" Football. All health and safety guidelines must be followed.
