Join United Community for one of Alexandria's biggest community celebrations—the ALX South Block Party! This fun, family-friendly event brings neighbors, local organizations, and businesses together for an afternoon of connection, entertainment, and community pride.
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success! Whether you're greeting guests, assisting with activities, helping vendors, supporting children's games, or helping with setup and cleanup, your time will make a meaningful difference.
We welcome volunteers 16 and older.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Event setup & breakdown
- Welcome & information table/Marshalls
- Children's activity support
- Vendor assistance
- General event support

- 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- 9:00 am to 11:00 am
- 10:30 am to 1:00 pm
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
