Macroinvertebrate Monitoring - Holmes Run
Join the City of Alexandria's Stormwater Management Division for a hands-on stream science experience at Holmes Run. Volunteers will collect and identify aquatic insects and other small organisms to help assess the health of the stream and the watershed. No prior experience is required; training and all materials are provided. This is a great opportunity to learn about local waterways while contributing to meaningful environmental monitoring.
