VRC Outreach Opportunities
The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) is seeking volunteers to share information and training about the Volunteer Reception Center at various events in support of National Preparedness Month. You will be provided with all of the materials and flyers you will need for the event. You will need to be friendly and approachable, and have a willingness to talk to people and share your support of Disaster programs in Alexandria.
You can be the face of the VRC. Answer questions, pass out flyers, and engage with your community.
- April 20, Citizen Corp Council Community Event (6-8 PM)
- May 30, Citizen Corp Council Family Event (6-8 PM)
- May 31, Arts Fair at Tavern Square (Multiple shifts)
- June 28, Arts Fair at Tavern Square (Multiple shifts)
