About Us: CFNC is a non profit preschool system throughout Alexandria. Our mission is to provide caring, high-quality, free education and related services to under resourced children and their families in their own neighborhoods.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to serve as members of our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding our organization, shaping its future, and ensuring its continued success. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills, experience, and passion to a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. 

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan.
2. Governance: Provide oversight and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
3. Financial Stewardship: Participate in financial decision-making and ensure the organization's fiscal responsibility.
4. Fundraising: Actively support fundraising initiatives and help secure resources for our programs.
5. Advocacy: Advocate for the organization's mission and values within the community.
