Volunteer on New Year's Eve with First Night Alexandria

Volunteer sign-up for First Night Alexandria has begun! Find a partner, or volunteer by yourself, this is a great way to enjoy the best New Year’s Eve party in town! We need 200 volunteers from Masonic Temple to Market Square and great places in between.
Greeters, (Customer Service), Ushers (Help and Information), Social Media (times vary), Check-In (Ticket scanning), Rolling Shout Outs and Event Set up/Break down – signage, volunteers are needed to rock this event. We have multiple events taking place at various locations; hence volunteer times are from 11:00 am to 12:30 am New Year’s day.
We have several daytime and evening events at Masonic Temple and the Durant Center. Top that with numerous venues in and around Old Town. So choose the day shift or night shift. But do choose to experience this exciting time of giving back. Masks and social distancing are required onsite.
Our goal is to keep attendees, staff, performers, and volunteers as safe as possible. Venues will also be cleaned and sanitized between shows. Zoom training will be provided as we near the event date. Come join us!
