Volunteers Needed for Alexandria Drive In Movie Nights

First Night Alexandria supports the Alexandria Drive In Movie Nights for the next several Saturday evenings. They are looking for volunteers to assist with customer service by serving as row captains and responding to questions from movie guests.

While on site, volunteers will be task to make sure guests are following guidelines and address any concerns. There will also be a hotline number for guests to text or call and will dispatch volunteers based on proximity. 

Volunteers must wear PPE, masks and gloves specifically, and you will be provided a FNA safety vest, flashlight, and lanyard with a general reference card if questions arise. Guests will be given a trash bag to keep trash in their car and to minimize work at the end of the event,  volunteers are asked to help pick up any trash if they see any on the grounds. 

A shirt will be provided but we ask that volunteers wear jeans or khakis, either shorts or long pants. As the volunteer will be outside, please make sure to bring proper weather attire. Volunteers will be briefed on emergency exits and protocol on the day of the event.

First Night is also providing Zoom training on Fridays at 7pm for those who have questions about the experience.

Volunteers needed each Saturday - September 19th - October 3 from 6:00PM - 10:00 PM. 10 Volunteers needed each night.
