Join Volunteer Alexandria and support TOYS4alx. We need volunteers to help us collect, organize, and distribute toys this holiday season. About TOYS4alx: Bringing holiday joy to Alexandria’s children in need is an annual tradition of Volunteer Alexandria. Each year, more than 900 Alexandria families register for holiday assistance through the City of Alexandria’s Fund for Alexandria’s Child Holiday Sharing Program. Families who are not matched with a sponsor to fulfill their holiday wish lists are referred to Volunteer Alexandria’s TOYS4alx toy drive. This year, our goal is to bring holiday cheer to approximately 650 children ages 0–12 with toys and gifts, while also supporting an additional 200 youth ages 13–18 with gift cards through the Fund for Alexandria’s Child and gifts provided during the toy drive distribution.
