The Lyceum, Alexandria's History Museum

The mission of The Lyceum is to provide visitors with a unique historical experience through exhibitions, programs, and special events. As both a community history museum and an historic site, the institution's mission is further divided into two primary goals: to preserve and interpret the history and material culture of Alexandria and the surrounding region, and to preserve and interpret the historic structure known as The Lyceum.
