Family & Youth Community Service Day - Elementary Aged
Volunteer Alexandria is partnering with the USO to mobilize youth volunteers, ages 6-12, to create packs for U.S. soldiers. Volunteers will write cards that will be included in the packs. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn from active duty soldiers about the impact of the project, as well as additional volunteer opportunities in Alexandria! When signing up, please note that we would like to have a majority of the volunteers be students, so parents, please limit the number of adults in your group! We really want to have as many students as possible engaged at this project! Again, thank you for understanding. The project will start promptly at 11 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. and we will serve lunch to all volunteers at 12! This project is part of our Family & Youth Community Service Day.
