Family Volunteer Day 2026 - Patrick Henry Rec Center
Volunteer Alexandria is excited to host our annual Family Volunteer Day on Saturday, November 21!
*This event is intended for families, providing an opportunity for youth and guardians to serve together.*
Activities include making gift tags for presents and creating decorations in preparation for the upcoming toy drive distribution event. Families of all ages are invited to volunteer together to ensure that every family in Alexandria has a special holiday season. We will have age-based activity stations; for the very young, please come prepared to work side by side.
To sign up your family:

- List all attending family members with their ages

Volunteering as a family has many benefits. Working side by side creates opportunities for shared experiences, connection, and conversation. Volunteering also cultivates empathy, encourages kindness and gratitude, and shows even the youngest child how a small positive act can make a big difference.
A $10 donation per family would be greatly appreciated. You may donate at any time.
