The End of Year Picnic is Wright to Read’s opportunity to celebrate all of the hard work of our students, families, and tutor-mentors during the 2025-26 school year! Often the program’s biggest celebration of the year, the End of Year Picnic features good food, fun games and activities, and the distribution of bespoke summer reading packages for all Wright to Read students. It is an amazing way to close out the school year and kick off the summer with the Wright to Read family.
The Wright to Read team needs your help to put on this awesome event, including running set-up, check-in, event activities, and cleanup. We typically have 175+ attendees each year, and we really appreciate your help! Lunch will be provided to any volunteers helping during the time of the event.
Wright to Read is a local literacy tutoring and mentoring program under the Campagna Center. Our events are a big part of how we encourage a love of literacy in all of our families!
Interested in supporting our event? Sign up here, and a WTR staff member will reach out with more details about specific volunteer time slots and roles. You are *not* expected to volunteer for the full event time, and set-up and clean-up time slots are available before 10:30 AM and after 2:00 PM!
