Snow Buddy - Winter 2025/26
Volunteer Alexandria works with the City of Alexandria to provide low-income homeowners, seniors, and people with disabilities, snow removal assistance during the snow season through the Snow Buddy Program. The Snow Buddy Program matches volunteers with City residents, who then will clear sidewalks, steps, and driveways as needed during the entire snow season.
The program will be activated as soon as the first snow falls. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own shovel, but they can be provided if needed. After signing up, volunteers will receive more details about the program and how to proceed.
