Alexandria Commission for Women – Volunteer Opportunity
Project: 2026 Update to the Commission for Women Report
About the Commission
The Alexandria Commission for Women was established in 1974 to eliminate gender discrimination and encourage equal opportunity for women. In 2018, the Commission published the Status of Women report highlighting five pillars of equality and well-being: economic security, opportunity, healthcare, leadership, and safety. We are launching the 2026 Update to measure progress, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to City Council.
