Volunteer Opportunity: ESL Teacher Assistant for Immigrant Women
We are looking for a dedicated ESL Teacher Assistant to support beginner-level English classes for immigrant women. In this role, you’ll work closely with the lead teacher to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment that helps learners build confidence and essential language skills.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and lesson materials.
Provide one-on-one or small group support during exercises.
Help learners practice basic English words, phrases, and pronunciation.
Encourage participation and help clarify instructions when needed.
Assist with classroom organization, attendance, and simple logistics.
