Teaching Artist - Afterschool Puppetry Instructor
Momentum Collective Inc. is partnering with the Recreation Department in Alexandria Va, to provide after-school arts education to elementary and middle school youth. We are seeking volunteers knowledgeable in any combination of hand puppet making, storytelling, and operating puppets with a view to facilitating at least two children's puppet shows throughout the program year. The location for the opportunity is dependent on availability as we have either a 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Volunteers must be comfortable working with youth from diverse backgrounds.
