Spend your Sunday with a Lucky Dog at the Rockville PetSmart
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue has an adoption event the SECOND Sunday of every month at the Rockville PetSmart - 5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895.
Come spend the afternoon with a Lucky Dog! We need dog handlers to hold a dog's leash during our adoption event and talk up the dog to potential adopters during the event. We also need drivers to drive Lucky Dogs to and from our adoption event. Handler check-in is at 11:15 am (dog check-in starts at 11:45 am). You should plan to stay until 3:30 pm.
When we receive your inquiry about volunteering, we'll send you a confirmation email and then closer to the event date we'll send some additional information specific to volunteering at that event. Event is held outside, so please dress appropriately.
*Must be at least 12 years old to volunteer and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent present at all times (the parent must be the one physically holding the dog's leash).
