In-office Volunteering with the Inova Healthy Plate Club
Hello Volunteers,
Join the Inova Healthy Plate Club for in-office volunteering! Come support our behind the scenes efforts to prepare for classes. The Inova Healthy Plate Club educates children from low-income families about cooking and nutrition. In each class, students learn about a different nutrition topic, do an activity like label reading jeopardy, and try a new a recipe with us. So to prepare for these classes we need you help in the office! Tasks may include, but are not limited to stuffing prize envelope, packing food bags, or organizing and packing student materials. Volunteers must complete a background check with Inova, be fully vaccinated, and provide proof of vaccination. While on site volunteers should wear masks at all times.
