Until Help Arrives
For any incident, from a car crash to an active shooter normal people play an important role in saving lives. It is imperative that we provide the knowledge and skills necessary to help our community save lives until our professional responders arrive. This class will teach you how to recognize violent activities, respond safely, provide immediate rescue tactics to the injured, and report them to 9-1-1 efficiently. The skills you will learn are transferable to countless situations involving traumatic injury, which include car accidents, household injuries, or an active shooter. Come and learn how you can be the help, Until Help Arrives.
*** During the current COVID-19 event all UHA classes will be held remotely online via Zoom to encourage social distancing. Once we can do in person classes again we will hold a skills only 1 hour training to give you the hands on training parts of the class. The webinar is expected to be shorter than the standard UHA class at only 3.5 hours. After you sign up additional details will follow. Class times posted are the start time of the online learning.***
