Drivers Needed to Transport Food

Great Harvest is looking for volunteers to drive their own cars to help them transport food to ALIVE!'s Warehouse, Community Lodgings, Carpenters Shelter Charles Houston and, Grace Episcopal, and Meade Memorial Church. Times to pick up food are flexible. Deliveries are needed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Please express interest below with your preferred delivery time. Courtney McEllen will contact you to confirm and work out the details for pick-up and deliveries.  Please note: Depending on traffic, deliveries should take less than two hours --window is to provide flexibility. 
Tuesday shifts from 2:00 to 4:00 PM are needed!
Thursday afternoon shifts from 2:00 to 4:00PM was switched to 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Volunteer still needed to complete this delivery.

Before you volunteer, please ensure:
- That you have you NOT been at any places and therefore exposed where people have tested positive for COVID-19? If so, do not volunteer.
- That you DO NOT exhibit any symptoms of a respiratory illness including fever, runny nose, sore throat, coughing or difficulty breathing now or in the past 24 hours? If so, do not volunteer.
All volunteers who are at high risk of severe disease or who have someone in their household who is high risk (this includes persons who are age greater than 65; have underlying heart disease or lung disease, diabetes, liver disease; are immunocompromised, on dialysis, or have severe obesity with BMI greater than 40) should NOT volunteer.
