We're looking for volunteers to help capture the energy and excitement of our upcoming Teen Science Café. This is a fantastic opportunity for photographers and videographers to showcase their skills while supporting an inspiring community event.

Alexandria Teen Science Cafe is a free and fun way for teens to explore science and technology that affect their lives. In each meeting teens and STEAM experts will engage in lively conversations and activities to explore a different topic in depth in a relaxed and informal out of school time setting.

The cafes for high school students take place at the Chinquapin recreation center next to the Alexandria City High School. Presentation topics are selected by Teen Leaders to ensure the content is relevant and engaging. Speakers will share a topic and provide the background for activities and discussion, and the careers and the path to the careers.
