Every Weekday (Monday through Friday) - Bag Lunch Distribution The church provides lunches to residents from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. We need help to set up tables and distribute lunches every weekday, except on certain holidays. We are asking all volunteers to arrive at 11: 15 a.m. Grocery (Pantry) Distribution (Thursdays / Fridays) Although the city of Old Town Alexandria may not seem like a community where people are in need, it is. To address this need, we are partnered with the City of Alexandria’s ALIVE! Food Bank to provide groceries for people in need. Food shipment is on Wednesday mornings, and this requires light lifting from our church courtyard to the church hall. Afterwards, volunteers will unpack, sort, and stock our pantry shelves, and then pre-pack grocery bags for distribution to clients on Thursday and Friday. Please plan to arrive by 11 a.m. EMERGENCY/PANTRY FOOD ASSISTANCE Two days a week only: Thursday or Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
