Youth Opportunities by Age Group

All ages: 

Clean-Up Litter along Four Mile Run. Collect litter along the trails and streambank at Four Mile Run Park on Sunday, January 12 with the Four Mile Run Conservancy from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Remove Vegetation Near Daingerfield. The Friends of Mt. Vernon will meet on Saturday, February 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to remove and trim vegetation near Daingerfield Island. Equipment will be provided.

Trash Pick-Up at Jones Point. Remove litter at Jones Point Park on Saturday, February 15 with the Four Mile Run Conservancy from 10 a.m. to noon.

12 and older:

Library volunteers. The Teen Advisory Group meets monthly with current and prospective library volunteers. Participants meet at the Beatley Library. Participants will receive 1 service hour. Snacks provided.

13 and older:

Distribute Groceries to Local Families -- Help UNCUT Youth distribute food to local families on Saturday, January 18 from 9:15a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will sort, pack, and distribute groceries. Register online.
