National Association of Letter Carriers-Annual Food Drive

Our goal is to assist local food banks in collecting as much non-perishable food items as possible on one day of the year. This day is always the Saturday before Mother's Day. (Usually Early May). We help collect this food by delivering notices to every residence in the Alexandria VA mailing area, asking that the Postal Customers leave a bag of food items for their US Postal Carrier to pick up and then help distribute to the local food Banks.
