Youth Sports Coaches
To provide an enjoyable & safe sporting experience for an assigned group of athletes, while they learn indiviual and team games skills, sportsmanship and fair play.
Preside over team activities including all scheduled practices and games. Adhere to RPCA policies, rules and objectives Responsible for mainintaining care of all RPCA Sports equipment. Lead by example among team parents to support the responsiblities of the refree and league leadership. Coach an assigned group of children and focus on skill development, safety, fair, play, sportsmanship and fun. Work to esatbilsh and improve team unity and spirit. Ensure equal time for all players, regardless the score
Desire to work with children, possess organizational, patience, maturity, and dependability, sound character, strong morals,values, and personal ethics.
Volunteers are required to complete the volunteer application and background check.
Volunteers must attend the Natioanl Youth Sports Coaches Alliance course. Volunteers are must attend coaches meeting and are encourageed to attend coaching clinics.
Volunteers must sign and follow the Code of Conduct and enforce the Code of Conduct with players and players and parents. All football coaches must be certified USA Football "Heads Up" Football. All health and safety guidelines must be followed.
