Summer Family Volunteer Day!
***For Immediate and Extended Family Members Only*** Volunteer Alexandria is excited to host a Summer Family Volunteer Day on Saturday, August 23! There will be a variety of project stations that will benefit numerous nonprofits and city agencies. Volunteering together as a family has many benefits. Working side by side provides opportunities for a shared experience, connection, and conversation. Volunteering also cultivates empathy, encourages kindness and gratitude, and shows even the youngest child how a small positive act can make a big difference. To sign up your family, please choose the 'Sign up as a team' option and list all of your family members with their ages. This will give us an accurate count of volunteers for the day! Volunteer Alexandria is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities. To request a reasonable accommodation, please email or call our office.
