4-H Summer Camp Adult Volunteer

Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria 4-H Camp is a 5-Day, 4-Night residential camp held at the NOVA 4-H Center in Front Royal, VA. At camp, youth ages 8-13 and teen counselors ages 14-18 engage in various camp classes (including canoeing, fishing, arts & crafts, archery, STEM, etc.) to learn through hands-on, engaging experiences and to have fun outdoors! Room and board is free for adult volunteers. This year's camp will take place June 22 - June 26, 2025. 

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:

- Supervise youth in camp classes and lodges

- Encourage, mentor, and be a positive role model for all youth members

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:

- Desire to help youth succeed

- Patience

- Must complete adult volunteer training (provided)

- Volunteers need to go through a screening process, which includes a background check
