Food Distribution Volunteer
Do you enjoy giving back to the community? Are you looking for ways to aid in the fight against food insecurity in Alexandria? Well, look no further, this volunteer opportunity is perfect for you!
Every 2nd Friday of every month, we host a food distribution for any one of our neighbors in need. We have partnered with Capital Area Food Bank to have pallets of food delivered to our location where we organize and prepare them to be given out.
The event is from 9 AM - 1 PM OR until all food has been dispursed. We provide gloves for volunteers and bags for any attendees who may not have any.
Feel free to choose a date and sign up, whether it's just you or with a team - we are happy with any amount of help we receive doing this great deed for the community.
