Food Distribution Volunteer
Are you interested in helping fight hunger in your community? Come join us at our monthly food distribution and pay it forward!
The City of Alexandria, the 1st Agape Baptist Church, and the Capitol Area Food Bank are all committed to keeping Alexandria Hunger Free.
Each month (every second Friday), we conduct a food distribution open to all. This distribution provides families a variety of produce, meats, and non-perishable items to take home.
We need volunteers to help with bagging items, distributing food to families, and assisting some families, if necessary, with carrying distributed items to their car. We value your support, without volunteers we would not be able to conduct initiatives like this one
The event will take place at the Leonard "Chick" Armstrong Recreation Center at 25 W Reed Avenue.
