Active Shooter Training

Join Lt. John M. Weinstein of NVCC in learning the "Run, Hide, Fight" model of an active shooter emergency.

Active shooter incidents are increasing in frequency and lethality.  How would you respond?  This training explains why active shooter incidents occur, three response options, and how to stay safe during law enforcement’s response. Additionally, this training teaches how to run, how to hide and how to fight, along with the three factors that determine one’s optimum survival strategy.

Room 196 in the Bisdorf Building on the Northern Virginia Community College - Alexandria campus.

Attendees may park for free in any parking lot marked with a “B”.
