Make a Difference Day - Dangerfield Island Park Clean-up

As the tide recedes along the Potomac, trash is washed ashore. It comes in the form of plastic and glass, candy wrappers and styrofoam, cans, and clothing. Ascend volunteers sought to rectify that near Daingerfield Island. Students, led by Ascend leaders Fatima Eldaweh and Ian McDonough, picked up 24 bags of trash alongside the river on Saturday, October 23rd.
