Art Uniting People

Art Uniting People – A Celebration of Recovery, Creativity and Mental Health”, sponsored by the Anti-Stigma HOPE Campaign, is an art exhibition presented each spring during National Mental Health Month . The purpose of this exhibition is to showcase the artwork by individuals who are affected by mental illness, developmental disability or substance use disorder to bring attention to and foster understanding of the stigma and other issues this community faces. It is an art exhibition dedicated to making a difference and seeks to engage the Alexandria community in a conversation about each person’s uniqueness and the commonality we all share.
