City of Alexandria, Division of Aging & Adult Services

The Division of Aging and Adult Services is part of Alexandria's Department of Community and Human Services. We serve Alexandria's older adults, their families and persons with disabilities. Special emphasis is given to assisting those who are most at risk of being institutionalized or who have a low income. We are part of the community-based long-term care system for Alexandria's older residents.
