Opportunity Details

Bicycle Mechanics - No experience necessary, training provided!

No experience is necessary! We're looking for anyone interested in learning how to fix bikes, and in turn helping others fix their bikes. Experienced staff & volunteers are available during volunteer nights for new volunteers to ask questions.

Volunteers are trained to fix bikes to give away to children, refugees, and people who cannot afford bikes on their own. Volunteers also assist customers in fixing their bikes. We have opportunities in the morning, afternoon, and evening on weekdays and weekends.

Please let us know when you're available and if you'd prefer our shop in Arlington's Lyon Park neighborhood or our shop at in Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood.  By responding to this post, you'll be connected with the Volunteer Coordinator who can provide more details.  Thank you for your interest!
