Business Connections: Prepare Home for Family Day
A group of 10-12 volunteers are needed for a project to get a home ready for a family fun day for women returning from incarceration. The volunteers will donate approximately three hours of service to:
- staining the deck,
- improving the ramp,
- pruning and clipping bushes,
- removing weeds,
- mulching, planting, raking, and mowing.
Please note, this is a fee for service for a business and a $500 donation to Volunteer Alexandria is required. Friends of Guest House is a community reentry program for women returning from incarceration. We are a 24/7 program that is housed in a beautiful 100 year old bungalow in Del Ray Alexandria.
