Chess Instructor
Friends of Guest House is looking for individuals to teach Chess to approximately 8-10 of our residents. This workshop should include the basics of chess, how to play, roles of each piece, different techniques, the history of chess, as well as the transferable skills that learning and playing chess provide. Instructors should have some experience in the subject area they wish to teach and be able to commit to teaching once a week for 50 minutes at least 8 weeks. The Chess facilitator would provide an outline for the workshop prior to the start of the workshops.
