Old Town Farmers' Market

The mission of the Old Town Farmers’ Market (OTFM) food rescue/gleaning program is to connect fresh, locally-grown produce with food pantries, homeless shelters, senior centers, and Churches that provide food to those in need. Vendors at the farmers’ market occasionally have unsold produce at the end of the day. The OTFM manages a gleaning program at the market from the end of May to mid-November to rescue this donated food and distribute it to those in need of fresh produce in Alexandria.
