Catholic Charities-Hogar Immigrant Services

The mission of Hogar Immigrant Services is to offer a wide range of services at little or no cost to a vulnerable immigrant population, without regard to religious or ethnic identity. The primary goal of the English for Speakers of Other Languages and Citizenship program is to offer immigrants a basic knowledge of English so that they can: (a) improve their ability to advocate for themselves; (b) enhance their education and employment opportunities to better provide for their families; (c) pass the Citizenship Exam -- which requires proficiency in English; (d) become less isolated and able to participate in the larger community.
