Community Toy Drive & Distribution 2018

Volunteer Alexandria in partnership with the Alexandria City Department of Community and Human Services, hosts the 28th Annual Holiday Community Toy Drive, which will approximately involve 300 families and 700 children. This event engages volunteers 6 and older and is supported by the LizLuke Team. The community toy drive started on November 13 through December 12 and if you are interested in collecting toys, please email mbrunken@volunteeralexandria.org. Volunteers needed to unload, sort, and inventory toys on Friday, December 14 and Saturday morning, December 15. On December 15, volunteers needed to assist parents in selecting toys for their children. Spanish translators needed to escort parents. FAMILY & GROUP VOLUNTEERING: If you will be volunteering with your family or as a group, please use the 'Or Sign Up With a Team' function at the bottom to sign up your entire family or group. The 'Team Leader' will just need to entire the names and ages (if under 18) of everyone in your group. This will let us know how many volunteers will be with us.
