Friendly Visitor Program
Are you interested in making a difference in someone's life? Senior Services of Alexandria is actively recruiting volunteers to participate in our Friendly Visitor Program. The goal of this program is to relieve loneliness and feeling of isolation experienced by many of Alexandria's seniors. Through planned weekly visits, volunteers bring friendship and community connections to seniors who are often restricted by their living facilities and/or may lack the local support of friends and family. If you would like to be part of our dynamic group of volunteers or would like more information, please contact Mary Giordano at 703-836-4414, ext. 120.
