Decorate Envelopes for Holiday Sharing Program

This holiday season, Volunteer Alexandria, in partnership with the City of Alexandria, is supporting families in need. Financial and emotional stress can dampen the holiday cheer—especially during this challenging year.
For more than two decades, the Holiday Sharing Program has helped Alexandria’s low-income families. Due to COVID, we will not collect toys this year. Please consider sponsoring a family. Click here to sign up, https://apps.alexandriava.gov/HolidaySharing.
As part of the Holiday Sharing Program, Volunteer Alexandria is hosting individuals, families, and youth to decorate envelopes. These envelopes will be distributed to families who are part of the Holiday Sharing Program and whom are receiving cards with their sponsored gift.
Volunteers can pick from different shifts on Monday, November 9^th. Each shift can host up to 6 families. All COVID-19 procedures and policies will be followed. Click HERE to learn more how Volunteer Alexandria is keeping their volunteers safe while on site.

10:00 – 11:00 AM
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
2:00 – 3:00 PM
3:30 – 4:30 PM
5:30 – 6:30 PM
