March in the George Washington Birthday Parade!
Volunteer Alexandria is looking for volunteers to help us celebrate the birth of George Washington by marching in the Birthday Parade. Volunteers of all ages and dogs are welcomed. Volunteers will carry signs to showcase volunteerism and Volunteer Alexandria, as well as distribute information on Emergency Preparedness and volunteering.
Please note We are asking that volunteers arrive no later than 12:30pm. We will communicate the exact meeting location once we get conformation from the parade organizers. But the location will be in Old Town Alexandria. Also because our position in the parade is currently unknown we may be done earlier than 4:30pm.
