The Youth Arts Festival
The Youth Arts Festival (YAF) is a one-day showcase of visual and performance arts from youth across the city of Alexandria; an event that was started in 2010 made possible with the collaboration of ARHA and through various partnerships with agencies in the City of Alexandria and Alexandria City Public Schools.
The Youth Arts Festival provides the youth an opportunity to share their creativity with a broad audience. This free family-friendly event includes over 15 live performance acts and hundreds of visual art pieces combined with over 12 interactive art booths to engage patrons from all ages.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us in the following areas:
- Event set up
- Visual display set up
- Stage management
- Interactive art booths
- Event logistics
- Event clean up.
Refreshments and T-shirts will be provided to volunteers.
All volunteers must check-in at the “Volunteers Center” before assisting at the festival.
