Volunteer for the Truck Team with A Wider Circle's Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program!
Are you ready for hands-on activism? We are seeking volunteers to join our Truck Team on a weekend day and help to pick up donations of furniture and household items throughout the region for the families A Wider Circle serves. Each day, A Wider Circle furnishes roughly 20 homes free of charge for individuals and families who may be transitioning out of shelters, escaping domestic violence, or otherwise living without these basic need items. We ask that Truck Team volunteers are at least 18 years old, strong enough to carry half of a sleeper sofa, and able to commit to a full day of volunteering (9:00 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday or 11:00 am - 5:30 pm on Sunday).
