Meal Delivery for Children at ACPS
Alexandria City Public School (ACPS) is offering any child between the ages of 2 and 18 – whether or not they are eligible for Free or Reduced Price Meals – can pick up a meal to go in a bag. In addition, ACPS is offering Family Meal Packs. Families can order this meal pack online for pick-up or delievery. Please note, no students are not allowed to volunteer at this time. Also, people who are 65+ due to CDC and City Guidance are not allowed to volunteer.
Before you volunteer, please ensure:
- That you have you NOT been at any places and therefore exposed where people have tested posted for COVID-19? If so, do not volunteer.
- That you DO NOT exhibit any symptoms of a respiratory illness including fever, runny nose, sore throat, coughing or difficulty breathing now or in the past 24 hours? If so, do not volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to ride with an ACPS bus driver and deliver the food to these individuals and families. Bilinguals needed
Volunteers needed daily (weekdays) 11:00am - 2:00pm
Age Minimum (with Adult): 21+, Minimum Age:21+, Maximum Age:65
