Life Saving Smoke Alarm Installation
In partnership with the Alexandria Fire Department and the American Red Cross we are proud to present this opportunity to help prepare our community for fires. There are on average over a million fires in the US a year. Some are large wildfires affecting thousands of people but many more are fires in people’s home. By installing and checking smoke alarms we hope to bring the number of fire related damage and death down. Please join us on Saturday October 20th to go out and make a change in our community. We need volunteers like you to spread information on the danger of fire and to help install smoke detectors in people’s homes. Please sign up now. A small breakfast and lunch will be provided to all those who volunteer.
