Empty Bowls Fundraiser for Alive! November 10, 2018
Empty Bowls is the major fundraising event for ALIVE!. ALIVE! is the oldest private social services safety net serving low income families in the City of Alexandria through food, shelter and education. The event consists of a light supper, raffle and entertainment. Attendees keep their supper bowls which are made by local artisans. Volunteers are needed to set up the facility ( Durant Arts Center,1605 Cameron Street) serve food and beverages and to clean-up. Volunteers work shifts.
